We announce the death of Johnnie Charles Lind of Bella Vista, Arkansas, who passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 82. Johnnie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Lind and Clara Lind (Letze). He is survived by: his sons, Casey Lind (Amanda) of Bentonville and Chad Lind (Allison) of Neosho, Missouri; his grandchildren, Carter, Kohyn, Noah, Lydia and Hunter Lind; his sister Viola Preston (Edward) of Chesterfield, Missouri; his brother-in-law Larry Bowman (Paula) of Monett; and his friend Pam Schoen.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home (510 E Cherry St, Mt Vernon, MO 65712). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Vernon Ioof Cemetery (13171 Lawrence 1137, Mt Vernon, MO 65712).
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Fisher House Foundation-VA Support or St. Jude's Children Hospital in his memory.
