He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Hoerner and Virginia M. Belloli; and his siblings, Nelson Louis Hoerner, Edward Charles Hoerner and Mary Ann Cole.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Kathleen Hoerner; his sister Judith Virginia Luebbers; his daughters, Robin Rene Barlow (Kevin) and Sandra Ann Hoerner; and his granddaughters, Monica Louise Jones and Shannon Elizabeth Mara (Casey). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
