We bid farewell to Lina Diane Nelms of Belleville, Arkansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 11, 2025 at the age of 71. Lina Diane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Spears and Thelma Louise Dobbs Spears; her siblings, Juanita Alvey (JR), Carolyn Smith and Therman Spears; her grandparents, William Isaac, Minnie Keys-Spears, Fee Winfield and Dovie Florence Garner Dobbs; and her siblings-in-law, Linda Ingram and Ron Fowler.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Nelms; her children, Larry Nelms, Shannon Duis (Gene), Lia Ellison (Donny), Amy Harris (David) and Joey Nelms (Arrie); her sister Mary Fowler; her siblings-in-law, Brenda Hunt, Cheryl Millard (Dennis), Chuck Ingram and William Smith; and her grandchildren, Tiffany, Lynzie, Jennifer, Brooke, Doug, Ashley, Conner, Ryan, Chance, Clayton, Brylin, Kala, Kori, Paisley and Natalie. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grace Church (214 N Grand Ave, Belleville, AR 72824). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
