He was predeceased by: his parents, Taylor Burton and Mary Olene Pyle; his siblings, Jimmy Craig and Mary Ann Parker; and his former wife Nancy Pyle.
He is survived by: his wife Nina; his brother Fred Kirkpatrick; and his daughters, Becky Riddle (Russ), Christy Hopper (Mike), Diana New (Byron) and Pam Horton (Donald). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Home (322 N Market St, Benton, AR 72015). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sandstone Drive Church of Christ (13300 Sandstone Dr, Little Rock, AR 72206). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Salem Cemetery (20209 Arch St, Little Rock, AR 72206).
