It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billye Jean Ramsey of Benton, Arkansas, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Billye Jean Ramsey to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, James Kennemer and Ora Holland Kennemer; and her husband George B. Ramsey Jr.. She is survived by : her children, Richard Ramsey (Donna), Bob Ramsey (Debra), Vicki Collins (Phillip), Stanley Ramsey (Cheryl) and Janice Allred (Keith); and her grandchildren, Maranda Boyer (Anthony), Casey Collins, Jennifer Ramsey, Leigh Anne Thomas, Jayme Barker (Zach), Jaret Rogers (Kisha), Jordan Rogers (Emmy), Kayla Hercek (Teddy), Michael Ramsey (Angie) and Misty Sturm (Jason). She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ashby Funeral Home (108 W Narroway St, Benton, AR 72015). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sharon Missionary Baptist Church (402 Shenandoah Rd, Benton, AR 72019).
