He was predeceased by: his children, Charles Hill Jr., Nicklaus Latting, James Hill and Wesley Hill; his parents, Moses Hill Sr. and Reola Hill; his grandparents, Nathan, Lula Bell Hill, Joe and Rosie Stephen; and his siblings, Jonathan Hill, Moses Hill Jr. and Lulla Bell Salsbury.
He is survived by: his children, Curtis Combs (Jaime), Jonthain Latting, Christopher Hill, Patricia Hill and Marcel Walker; and his siblings, Willie Reed (Kenneth), Reola Box (Gary), Jesse Hill (Susie), Lillie Hill, Tildon Hill, Beverly Davis (Clarence), Marilyn Allbritten (Fred), Troy Bush (Marilyn), Robert Hill, Mary Ann Lawson, Linda Sue and Shirley. He is also survived by great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends.
