With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Johnson of Benton, Arkansas, born in Hot Springs, Arkansas, who passed away on January 21, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Owen Johnson and Minda Mae Pevehouse Johnson; and his sister Maxine Johnson. He is survived by: his sons, Joshua Erik Johnson and Joseph William Johnson; his grandson Jacob Cheng Johnson; and his siblings, Jc Johnson, Wesley M. Johnson, Gloria "Pat" Johnson McGuire and Carolyn Kay Johnson Lacy.
He was also an employee with the Big Lots Corp. Charles gladly served on the board as a chairman of the American Cancer Society of Jessop, Georgia.
