He was predeceased by: his father Walter Clay; his former wife Pauline Bailey; his son-in-law Hank Anderson; and his siblings, Clayton C. Bailey, Stinson Bailey, E. C. Bailey, Carolyn Bailey, Dorothy Wilkins, Jewel Dean Byrd and Betty Harp.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Bailey; his daughters, Linda Anderson, Connie Brown and Donna Elmore (Mark); his grandchildren, Clint Anderson (Melaine), Matt Brown (Katie), Luke Brown (Ashley), Chelsi Brasher (Brett), Maegan Tilley (Andrew) and Carlee Fox (Grant); his siblings, Jimmy Bailey (Sheila), Wilma Hughes (Rodney) and Kay Freeman (Phillip); and his friend Clifton. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
