He was predeceased by: his father Eddie Joseph Pellegrin, Sr.; his siblings, Herman Pellegrin, Sr. and Phyllis P. Picou (Jesse); and his sister-in-law Becky Pellegrin. He is survived by: his girlfriend Paula Ireland of Benton, Arkansas; his children, David Pellegrin (Dixie) of Euless, Claire Dufrene (Chad) of Marrero and Mary Wagner (Brian) of Slidell; his grandchildren, Heather Hinz (Bill) of Eugene, OR., Eric Abadie (Caitlin), Rachel Dufrene, Devan Bertaut (Shelbey), Jeremy Bertaut, Dylan Pellegrin, Drew Pellegrin, Eisley Hinz and Coen Hinz; his great grandchildren, Brandt, Houston, Jules Abadie and Isla Bertaut; his siblings, Eddie Pellegrin, Jr. (Sue), Berthile P. LeBoeuf (Milton) and Shirleen P. Conrad (Bruce); his sister-in-law Olynda Pellegrin LeBoeuf; and his friend Curtis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
