He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Raymond Lupton and Viola Isabel Lupton (Williams); his wife Karen Lee Lupton; his grandparents, Max Raymond and Mabel Lillian Lupton; his son Donald Leon Lupton, Jr.; and his siblings, Vyron Fuqua and Anita Lupton-Pershall.

He is survived by: his children, Adrian Lupton (Cheryl) of Benton, Tamie Hayes (Rick) of Bells and Rachel Lupton-Wadley; his son-in-law Clint of Sherwood; his stepchildren, Steven Novosad of Texarkana, Bradley Novosad (Judith) of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Shari Novosad of Augusta; and his siblings, Max C. Lupton of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Sherry Biggerstaff of Gainesville, Florida. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
