He was predeceased by: his parents, William Martin Stapleton and Alma Mae (Thomas); and his siblings, Orbie Cecil Stapleton, Freddie Gail Stapleton, Billy Borden Stapleton, Carl Franklin Stapleton, Mabel Flodean (Lovelace), Artie Janice "Toots" (Stroud), Francis Charlene "Chock" (Jeffrey), Valentine "Violet" (Burris) and Avo Maxine "Mac" Duran (Jeffrey).
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ann (Muncy); his son Gary (Karla) of Hot Springs; his granddaughter Misty Blunk (Zach); his great grandchildren, Andrea, Jude, Ada, Ethan and Nettie; his grandchildren, Theo, Anthoney Norton and Muncy Stapleton; his great grandchild Greer; his grandchild Reese Stapleton; his daughter Donna (Rodney) of Benton; his grandchild Payton Dawson; his great grandchildren, Bryan, Bella and Savannah Knoedl (Kris); his son Marty (Ronne) of Little Rock; his grandson Barton; Lane, Ainsley and Rick "Ricky Ray" Curtis. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
