It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freda Mae Loris (Benton, Arkansas), born in Alma, Arkansas, who passed away on May 14, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles "Charlie" Nelson and Julia Monks; and her siblings, Roy, Gladys, Douglas, Ruby, Jewel and Florene.
She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Robert Loris; her children, Jimmy Loris-Cameron and Renee Harrison; her son-in-law Lonnie Harrison; her grandchildren, Shanda Rogers, Amanda Herman, Lauren Moss, Jaxon Harrison, Nicholas Harrison, Jeptha Cameron, Jared Cameron, Devon Cameron and Evan Cameron; her great grandchildren, Luke, Jacey, Aria, Myers, Arwen, Callan and Blair; her brother Clarence Nelson; and her friends, Johnny and Diana Howard.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holland Chapel Baptist Church (15523 I-30, Benton, AR 72015). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery (402 Shenandoah Rd, Benton, AR 72019).
