She was predeceased by: her parents, John Laster and Lucy Laster; her husband Charles "Charlie" Brown; and her siblings, Cathern Wilkins, Norman Laster and Dorothy Forsyth.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dianne Robertson (Lynn) and Karen Newton (Buddy); her grandchildren, Amy Cloud (Mickey), Amanda Noyes (Michael) and James Newton (Rachel); her great grandchildren, Shelby, Bennett, Brooks and Edward "Teddy"; her sister Ann Hines; her niece Connie Helmich; her nephew Ronnie Forsyth; and her close friends, Charles and Sharon Dickinson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ashby Funeral Home (198 W Narroway St, Benton, AR 72015). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 9:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (200 N Market St, Benton, AR 72015).
