He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Halpaine and Inez Lewis Halpaine; his son Charles Knowlton; and his sister Glenda Halpaine. He is survived by: his wife Bessie Halpaine; his sons, David and Daniel Knowlton; and his siblings, Charles, Larry Halpaine, Ida Sue Johnson, Brenda Halpaine, Beverly Green and Charlotte Knox. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
