With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jacob Edward Oates of Benton, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 10, 2026 at the age of 31. In the vast expanse of eternity, Jacob shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jacob farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James Oates, Mildred Oates and Lucy Jester; and his cousin Paul Daniel Mosley. He is survived by: his parents, James Edward Oates (Kelly) of Benton and Wanda Gail Oates of Gurdon; and his siblings, Cody Fisher (Heidi) of Benton and Heather Oates of Malvern. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
