He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Roosevelt and Juley Ethel Permenter; his son James "Jimmy" Gordon Permenter; and his brothers, Ray and Johnny Permenter.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Ann Permenter, Daren Permenter (Katie), Dana Rogers (Chris), Sheila Watson, Lisa Lawless and Amy Permenter; and his grandchildren, Megan Crawley (Evan), Brandon Permenter, Nathan Permenter, Xavier Permenter and Coyote Rogers. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
