With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James O. McConnell of Benton, Arkansas, who passed away on June 21, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl O. McConnell and Tomera "Ruth" McConnell; and his sister Carmelita Lopez. He is survived by: his wife Linda Stringer McConnell; his children, Tonya Shields (Brian), Teri Cantrell and Todd McConnell (Tifney); his grandchildren, Cayley Burnett (Wes), Cara Herndon (Brandon), Sam Mills, Ben Mills, Madison Cantrell, Hannah Cantrell and Jackson Cantrell; his great grandchildren, Hudson Peel, Lane Burnett and Lacey Kate Herndon; and his siblings, Sue Jones and Jerry McConnell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
