He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Vowell; his children, Megan Vanhoy (Brandon), Cady Chumley and Graham Vowell; his grandchildren, Emmerson, Riley Vanhoy, Maddox and Monroe Chumley; his sister Debra Vowell Trahan; his nieces and nephews, Lauren, Kristin, Erica, Grant and Taylor; and his sisters-in-law, Melanie Gray and Stephanie Smith.
