He is survived by: his son James Ray Spade; his stepson Thomas Patrick Brown, Jr. (Jackie); his grandchildren, Owen Brown, James Sterling Rogers V, Ethan Brown, Katelyn Brown and Ava Rogers; and his great grandchild Zella French. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
