He is survived by: his wife Janet Weise Burks; his brother Jim Burks (Regina); his nephews, Michael Burks (Sonya) of Benton, Rodney Burks (Jullie) of Odessa, MO. and Jacob Burks (Sara) of Lancaster, WI.; his siblings-in-law, Paula Wiese Fontinel (Duane) and David Weise; and his nieces, Christy Trickey of Benton, Nine and Carrie Richey (Scott) of Benton, Nine. He is also survived by Nine great-nephews and six great-nieces.
