It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leland Ray Collier (Benton, Arkansas), born in Green River, Wyoming, who passed away on December 15, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Bettye Jean Collier; his son Matthew Wayne Collier; his parents, Arthur Granville and Eiliene V. Collier; and his brothers, Jack, Steven, Arthur and James Collier.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Mason (Jim), Anthony Stallings (Setsuko) and Joseph Collier (Chelsey); his grandchildren, Zach Glass, Zoie Glass, Aidan James Collier and Charlotte Collier; his siblings, Michael Collier (Lynn), Joseph Collier and Jerry Collier (Christeen); and his close friends, Nilima Renukdas, Tom and Nancy Wozniak. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Leland's name to Disabled American Veterans, the Saline County Humane Society, or the Cherokee Nation Foundation, organizations that were especially close to his heart.
