She was predeceased by: her parents, Will McCarthy and Faye McCarthy; and her brothers, Charles McCarthy and Dicky McCarthy. She is survived by: her husband John Penland; her children, Debra Sain, Steve Penland and Rick Penland; her grandchild Casey McCarthy; her great grandchildren, Riley McCarthy and Willow McCarthy; and her cousin George Craig. She is also survived by daughters; and many dear friends.
