She was predeceased by: her parents, John Scarbrough and Bernice Scarbrough (Bell); and her brothers, Louis, Reginald and Gerald.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Hawkins; her son Tony Murphy; her sister Denice Intyre; her sister-in-law Anita Scarbrough; and her stepsons, Lonnie and Shawn Hawkins. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
