It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Jane Welch (Benton, Arkansas), who passed away on March 24, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Andrew, Ella Roberts, F. L. and Elsie Schrimshire; and her father Edgar Dwain Elder.

She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Welch; her daughters, Jennifer Thornburgh (Guy) and Amy Welch; her mother Dorothy Elder; her sisters, Elizabeth Carter (Jimmy), Brenda Banks (Tommy) and Susan Jacoby; her nieces and nephews, Keilani Chandler (John), Blake Welch, Chrissy Keith, Deric Davenport (JP), Drew Farley, Dustyn Crossland, Savanna Crossland, Christina Copeland and Jennifer Holthoff (Zep); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ella Blair Keith, Conner Keith, Beth Chandler, Katie Chandler, Holly Chandler and Deacon Davenport.
