It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Williams (Benton, Arkansas), born in Alco, Arkansas, who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jessie Frank Williams; her daughter Gayla Williams-Drown; her great grandchild Taylor Purvis; and her siblings, Wilma McBunch, Shirley McKinney, Gladys Barnes, Madge Goodman, Carl Fletcher, James Fletcher and Glen Fletcher.
She is survived by: her sons, Alan Williams (Brenda) of Little Rock and Jeff Williams (Robyn) of Benton; her grandchildren, Luke Williams (Melissa) of Bryant, Shane Purvis (Amber) of Haskell, Matthew Williams (Kim) of Jacksonville, Jennifer Harris (Keith) of Benton and Courtney Abeyta (Joey) of Fayetteville; her great grandchildren, Jackson Purvis, Alex Williams, Titus Williams, Jack Williams, Rhett Williams and Emma Harris; and her brother Junior Fletcher. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Smith Family Funeral Home (322 N Market St, Benton, AR 72015). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery (7401 AR-5, Alexander, AR 72002).
