He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Hirman and Theresa Thomas Hirman; his wife Iris Virginia Strange Hirman; his son Michael J. Hirman; his brother Anthony Hirman; his stepchildren, Gregory A. Caple and Cheryl R. Hawkins; and his brother-in-law Francis Serbus.
He is survived by: his sisters, Beverly Spies (Bill), Pat Serbus and Coleen Allex (Gene); and his stepson Joe D. Caple. He is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
