We are sad to announce that, on December 3, 2022, at the age of 83, Murl Columbus Curtis (Benton, Arkansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Curtis and Sarah Ann Curtis (Glenn); his grandparents, Alexander L., Gemina James Curtis, Burton Payton and Nancy Ann Doan Glenn; and his siblings, Dewel "Jake" (Blanche), Ralph (Sue), Bryan, Miley, Ira B., Louise Carney (Mike), Alma, Willie May, Duffie and Ima Dee Yates (Gilbert).
He is survived by: his wife Willie Mae Hensley Curtis; his sons, Steven Douglas Curtis of Benton and Howard Edward Curtis of Hot Springs; his grandchildren, Amy Marie Curtis Smith (Brad) of Springdale, Steven Matthew Curtis (Kate) of Forsyth, Bryan Douglas Curtis of Jessieville and Joshua Ryan Curtis (Allison) of Maumelle; his great grandchildren, Hailey Bo Smith of Springdale, Curtis Anderson Smith of Springdale and Zaxtyn Alexander Curtis of Missouri; Jo Ann Curtis (Chalky). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, & friends.
