He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Obid and Lillie Mae Durham Jackson; and his siblings, Roy Dean Jackson, Clifford Ray Kesterson, Rosemary Bury, Doris Mae Sorg and Cynthia Lynn Kesterson.

He is survived by: his wife Tina Jackson of Sardis; his son Obid Tyler Jackson (Ashley) of Bauxite; and his stepchildren, Tiffany Lorraine Malone (Ben) of Sardis and Bridgette Leigh Caskey (Jeff) of Sherwood. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
