He is survived by: his wife Ora Lee Yates; his children, Paul Edward "Eddie" Yates (Kay) and Sara Michelle Shelnut (Matt); his grandchildren, Kayla Prichard, Samuel Yates (Kara), Austin Prichard (Angela), Jessica Prichard, Logan Yates, Jonathan Shelnut, Breanna Yates, Zach Blair, Marley Prichard and Bo Wickliffe; his siblings, Cathy Sides and Dan Yates (Sheila); and his sister-in-law Janie Yates. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
