He was predeceased by: his father John; his parents-in-law, Artis and Ruth Johnson of Cave City; his brothers, Jacob M. Brown and Randall Brown; his daughter-in-law Darlene Brown; his grandsons, Nicholas Brown and Mark Bailey; and his great grandchildren, Marshall and Jordan Bailey.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Brown; his children, Rebecca Jackson (Eric) of Benton, Ralph A. Brown of Benton and Debbie Staggs (Randy) of Atkins; and his grandchildren, Eric Brown (Stephanie), Jeremy Massey (Amber), Bobby Massey (Cassie), Bryan Sims (Tyger), Rochelle Hamilton (Greg), Matt Bailey (Mary-Kate), Matt Staggs, Jim Jackson (Tami), Amanda Shepherd and Bill Jackson (Keri).
