He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Barton and Ruby Barton; his sister Susie Lovelace; his brothers-in-law, Ron Lovelace and Bob Lewis; his sibling's children, Becky Lewis and Jimmy Barton; and his parents-in-law, Floyd and Erma Looper.
He is survived by: his wife Kitty; his children, Kristopher Barton and Karen Chenault (Greg); his grandchildren, Graham, Max, Avery Chenault and Bryant Barton; his siblings, Tommy Barton (Pat) and Judy Lewis; and his sister-in-law Floy Douglas (David). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, & life-long friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Ashby Funeral Home (108 W Narroway St, Benton, AR 72015).
Memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity of Saline County or a charity of one's choice.
