He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carolyn Kumpe; his daughter Rebecca (James); his sisters, Mary and Martha; Robert and Mabelvale. He was also cherished by His family grew to include 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Missionary Baptist Seminary in Little Rock.
