He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Lewis Brown Tilley; and his grandparents, Lewis Cadmus Tilley, Manie Brown Tilley, James Witt Bryan and Zula Pearl Bryan.
He is survived by: his mother Essie Faye Bryan Tilley; his children, Rachel Ellen Farrell (Max), Rebecca Leigh Tilley and Clay Spikes (Lauren); his grandchildren, Vivian Faye Schlau, Martha May Schlau, Noel Winston Schlau, Louisa Bell Farrell, Daisy Grace Farrell, Maeson Faye Spikes and Oliva Kay Spikes; his wife Peggy Jean Tilley; the mother of his children Melody Dawn St. John; his siblings, Dr. Steve Bryan Tilley (Merilyn) and Dr. Jill Tilley Steinsiek (Bill); and his nieces and nephews, Spencer Barrett Tilley, Justin Tilley, Jessica Nicole Steinsiek and Abigail Bryan Steinsiek.
