Sandra (Sandy) Gayle Bethard Shelnutt Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra (Sandy) Gayle Bethard Shelnutt of Benton, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 6, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Sandra leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society for Animals, Inc. — a fitting tribute for a woman who could never turn away a hungry stray and faithfully fed every cat that made its way to her door.
