He was predeceased by: his parents, Stormy Lee Franklin and Eileen Keough Smith. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Lynn Garrett Smith; his son Jared Smith (Jennifer); his siblings, Penny, Polly Smith and Jeff Smith; and his grandchildren, Matthew and Natalie Smith.
