She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolfo Pichel and Peregrina Pichel; and her sister Elisa Pichel Vonderhaar. She is survived by: her husband Ralph Edward "Ed" Caplinger; her children, Elisa Caplinger Mosley (Gary) and David Caplinger (Shannon); her grandsons, Nick Thompson (Leighsa), Chase Caplinger and Zachary Caplinger; her great grandchildren, Kaige Thompson, Ethan and Lindsey Williams; her sister Carmen Fauner (Jim); and her sister-in-law Donna Graves (Larry).
