It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne L. Smith of Benton, Arkansas, who passed away on December 21, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Inez Smith; his parents, Roy Smith and Juanita Foster Smith; his sisters, Sue Burks, Dorothy Lawrence and Ester Rogers; and his grandson Nate White.
He is survived by: his sons, Kendall Smith (Judy) of Benton and Todd Smith of Little Rock; his grandchildren, Sydni Varhalla (Steven) of Benton, Colton Smith (Bailey) of Benton, Blake Smith of Benton and TJ White (Jessica) of Benton; his great grandchildren, Cash, Cohen Smith, Stetson Varhalla, Hallie, Peyton and Chevy Lynn White; his siblings, George Smith of Sperry, Robert Lee Smith (Amanda) of Traskwood, Mack Smith (Vera) of Leola and Doris Keene of Russellville; Terry White of Benton.
