He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Bethards and Martha Williams Bethards; and his grandparents, William Henry Bethards and Mary Susie Bethards. He is survived by: his wife Lois Bethards; his daughters, Jennifer A. Bethards (Stephiane Stovall) and Lisa Marie Bethards Pichilla (Alex Pichilla); his brothers, Gene and Kenny Bethards; and his grandchildren, Lane, Leo and Rainey.
