It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Eugene Sligar of Bentonville, Arkansas, born in Cassville, Missouri, who passed away on January 27, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Sligar and Pearl Sligar (Boyd); and his son Bobby Dean Sligar. He is survived by : his wife Shirli Sligar; his sons, Timothy Sligar of Bentonville and Donny Sligar of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.; his grandchildren, Dominick, MacKenzie and Bobby Wayne Sligar; and his brother John "Bud" Sligar.

Nora Bollman wrote a sympathy message

“The first time I met Bob was in 2018 when I went to visit the Bentonville Kiwanis Club. He was so friendly and I knew then that I wanted to be a member. Bob reminded me of my dad, he didn´t know a stranger and I so enjoyed working with him in the Kiwanis Club. He will be missed and I know his family, particularly Shirli will miss him the most of all. My prayers are with you Shirli along with prayers for the rest of the family.”
