She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Axel B. Ost and Martha Lundell Ost. She is survived by: her significant other Calvin McElhannon; and her children, Martha Wong (Kim), Betty Weiss, Karen Pernudi (Mauricio) and Mark McElhannon (Leandra). She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Fayetteville National Cemetery (1000 S Lt Col Leroy Pond Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72701). A reception will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (351 W Centerton Blvd, Centerton, AR 72719).
