He was predeceased by: his sister Jennifer Bishop Massengale; his grandparents, Hoover, Ruby "Barb" Jenkins Smith, Carl and Louise Cox Bishop; his uncles, Terry and Tommy Bishop; and his cousin John Bishop.

He is survived by: his parents, Merrill K Bishop of Siloam Springs, AR and Robbie Kay Bishop (Smith) of Bella Vista, AR; his son Dylan Bishop of Van Buren, AR; his brother Jaren Bishop of Siloam Springs, AR; his niece Kaleigh Massengale; his niece Breanna Massengale; his nephew Kabren Massengale; his aunts, Brenda Smith, Carlyn Loftis (Lindal) and Rhonda Yarberry (Bob); his uncle Pat Bishop; Benji. He is also survived by cousins other relatives and friends.

The family would be honored in lieu of flowers that donations be made to his son Dylan Bishop for his continued education.
