He was predeceased by: his parents, James Willard, Sr. and Opal Carr; his former wife Barbara Clarise Carr; his sisters, Rose Doty and Paula of Berryville; his brother-in-law Eugene Hampton of Berryville; his sisters, Johnnie Morris of Alpena and Roma Lee; and his siblings-in-law, Mert Mertens of Fort Smith, Woody Harris of Virginia, Wendell (Edna Harris) and Edna (Dewey Thornton) of North Carolina.
He is survived by: his spouse Clarise Harris; his children, Tanya McBryde (Matt), Melony Parker, James W. Carr, III of Berryville, Nehemias Lopez and Noah Bourgeois; his sister Laura Welch of Berryville; his siblings-in-law, Lewis Morris of Alpena, Roy Harris (Connie), Judy Barbour of North Carolina and Sallie Harris of North Carolina; and his grandchildren, Marcus Dorsey (Jacqueline) of Mattie Fultz, J. J, Parker of Berryville, Emmy Parker of Berryville, Johnathon of Huntsville, Arkansas., Brett of Huntsville, Arkansas. and Ryan Nelson of Huntsville, Arkansas.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
