He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Robinson Poteet; his daughter Laura Ashley Landers; his son-in-law Terence Landers; his grandchildren, Jamey Landers and Sybell Howison; and his siblings, Earl, Patsy, Helen, Rose and Rebecca. He is also survived by many other relatives and good friends.
