He is survived by: his children, Mitchel Blackwell of West Virginia, Velvett Stepp of West Virginia, Don Blackwell of West Virginia and Justin Powell of Pocahontas; and his siblings, Lavon Blackwell (Linda) of Pocahontas, Danita Powell (David) of Poplar Bluff, James Blackwell (Tina) of Maynard, Dena Rogers (Allen) of Pocahontas, Diane Pearson (David) of Pocahontas and Ricky Blackwell of Biggers. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren.
