Simkins and Naomi Story Simkins; his wife Virginia Simkins; his daughter Denise Simkins; his grandchildren, Angelina Simkins and Ethin Romine; his great grandchild Rugar Cole Lasiter; his sisters, Linda Dunham and Teresa Stevens; and his close friend Luke Clay.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie Farris of Pocahontas, Jennie Romine (Hoby) of Williford, Lisa Young (Thomas) of Pocahontas, Gerald Simkins Jr. (Heidi) of Walnut Ridge, Vernon Simkins of Black Rock and John Simkins of Arkansas; his grandchildren, Sarah, Sierra, Austin, Christopher, Zack, Gabe, Bailey, Ashlie, Ashlyn, Jacob, Hannah, Louie, Amy, Andrew, Kristen, Emily, Phynn, Trinity, Aniken, Kandyce Hall, Samantha Clay and Haven Clay; and his siblings, Dennis Simkins of Pocahontas, Carrie Maccune (Larry) of Michigan, Dawn Tillery (Bob) and Thomas Wright Jr. of Michigan. He is also survived by Fourteen great-great grandchildren.
