He is survived by: his wife Brenda Carey; his daughter Amy Lea Carey of Portia; his siblings, Nancy Bettisworth of Houston, Cheri Lingo of Egypt, Elizabeth "Libby" Roberts of Imboden and Tony Carey of Black Rock; his granddaughter Megan Lea Carey of Black Rock; and his great grandchildren, Remington, Meredith and Bentley.
