He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Hardy and Francis Hardy; his son Chris Hardy; and his siblings, Dudley Hardy and Sara Austin.

He is survived by: his wife Clorita Driskill Hardy; his daughter Paige Hardy Lim (Stanley); his grandchildren, Taylor Lim (Liz) of Woodland, Hannah Lim Ford (Justin) of Dixon, Jordan Hardy Pugliano (Nick) of Savannah and Cole Hardy of Woodland, California; and his great grandchildren, Yoshi Lim of California, Keiko Lim of California, Sayuri Lim of California, Callum Ford of California and Aiden Ford of California.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Bill's honor to the Chris A. Hardy Scholarship Fund at Arkansas Northeastern College 2501 S Division St, Blytheville, AR 72315.
