Billy Smith Obituary

Billy Robert Smith, 63, of Blytheville, Arkansas passed away on August 26, 2025 at his home. He was born on January 20, 1962 in Natchez, Mississippi to Elmer and Ella Stroud Smith. He was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed fishing, hunting, but most of all, being beloved pawpaw to many grandchildren.

Survivors include; his wife of 45 years: Nelda Smith of the home; three daughters: Nicki Kennon (Brandon) of Manila, Arkansas, Amy Britt (Steven) of Blytheville, Arkansas, and Katie Smith (Aaron Tate) of Leachville, Arkansas; one brother: Robert Smith (Darlene) of Vidalia, Louisiana; three sisters: Vickie Mann (Kenny) of Benton, Louisiana, Cindy Bruce (Mark), Margaret Leake (Cliff) Pineville, Louisiana; best friend: Jay Hamilton; ten grandchildren: Cameron, MacKenzie, Madilyn, Lilly, Myleigh, Haven-Ray, Riley, Kole, Amelia, and Hudson; and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by: his parents: Elmer and Ella Smith; one brother: Johnal Smith; and three sisters: Malinda Nations, Sharon Wallace, and Shontia Jones.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Ridgecrest Baptist Church, 502 Ferriday Drive, Ridgecrest, Louisiana.
