He was predeceased by: his parents, Reba Faye and Garfield Helms, Jr.; his sisters, Lisa Renee Helms, Teresa Cannon and Kimberlee Stevens; his siblings' children, Gregory Steven Rush, Jr. and Teena Cannon; and his brother-in-law Charles Crowe.
He is survived by: his fiancé Caroldine McKillips; his son Franklin Helms, Jr. (Serena); his stepchildren, Michael Cade and Kristian Johnson; and his sisters, Bobbie Jacoby (David) of Hardy and Angelia Crowe of Blytheville.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel (603 W Main St, Blytheville, AR 72315). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dogwood Cemetery (3315 S Division St, Blytheville, AR 72315).
