He is survived by: his wife Berniece Staggs Murphy; and his children, Nitalynn Murphy-Earnest of Blytheville, Tammy Alvey (Alan) of Conway, Beverly Thompson (Richard "Kent") of Blytheville and Kimberly Buchberger (Kevin) of Ward. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and a host of many friends.
